I qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and spent ten years practising in Kent as a commercial litigator before deciding to establish my own practice as a freelance Solicitor in 2023. Before qualifying, I gained significant experience working for a top‑10 law firm in Switzerland and a top‑40 UK firm in London.
Since setting up on my own in 2023, I now specialise exclusively in SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) law. My work in this field is informed by both my professional background in litigation and my personal experience as a parent navigating the SEND system.
I live in Sevenoaks, Kent, and am a wife and mother to three children. My introduction to SEND began when my eldest son was diagnosed with ASD at the age of three. Both of my sons have SEND and have EHCPs. My eldest is currently out of school following a failed special school placement, while my youngest attends a specialist resource provision within a mainstream setting.
I am committed to providing families with dedicated, specialist SEND legal support and representation. SEND children are too often denied their lawful educational entitlements, and I work tirelessly to ensure that the rights of the SEND children and young adults I have the pleasure to work for, are upheld. My legal services are fully insured, and my practice is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Working independently as a freelance solicitor enables me to offer flexible, accessible and cost‑effective legal support to families across England. I work remotely and conduct most meetings online, allowing me to represent clients nationwide. My insight into the current SEND landscape underpins my commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for the children and families I support.
