FEES
FEE STRUCTURE
I offer an initial telephone consultation (lasting approximately 15/20 minutes) to all new clients, free of charge. Thereafter, I charge on a fixed fee basis.

Most law firms will charge by the hour. Hourly rates are usually anywhere between £150 (for a trainee solicitor) to in excess of £400 (for an experienced solicitor). I do not believe in charging hourly rates and will offer clients the option to work on an hourly rate basis in very limited circumstances. In order to give my clients complete transparency on my fees, I offer a fixed fee for all legal services I provide.

Examples of the fixed fees I charge are as follows:
-
To review a draft EHCP and any evidence of a child's needs (in expert reports, reports from school, diagnosis letters etc) and make amendments to the draft in line with recommendations made within evidence reviewed- £550
-
To undertake a full review of documentary evidence of a child's needs (including expert reports and any reports from school, diagnosis letters etc) and provide a written report on the strength of a case to a client considering lodging an appeal in the SEND Tribunal - £600
-
To send a letter before claim to a local authority, compliant with the pre-action protocol for judicial review - £450
-
To lodge and manage an appeal in the SEND Tribunal with regards to a refusal to undertake an EHC needs assessment decision - £2,500
-
To lodge and manage an appeal in the SEND Tribunal with regards to a decision not to issue an EHCP - £3,000

My fees are VAT exempt.
